What is a KURA kid?
We are currently on a programme called PB4L (Positive Behaviour For Learning). At Titahi Bay School we promote and focus upon these values: We are kind, we work together in unity, we are respectful, we aspire to achieve. We are KURA (Kindness, Unity, Respect, Achieve). You can also contact our KURA Kids Coordinator to hear more about this programme. We use the Restorative Practice model in our school.
In the classroom we operate on a Traffic Light Behaviour system.
